From 10–26 February, the people of Aotearoa’s most diverse city will come together to celebrate progress and make love under a mighty rainbow.
Moving forward into its 5th year, the Auckland Pride Festival is New Zealand’s largest and loudest social and cultural programme of events for our Rainbow communities (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Takatāpui, Fa’afafine, Intersex, Queer), as well as our families and friends.
A celebration of culture, sexuality and gender identity, the 2017 Auckland Pride Festival will feature over 50 individual events – including local and international theatre and cabaret, art exhibitions, live music, film and digital media, literature, debates and discussions, drag and burlesque, sports and recreation, gardening, pets, pageants and parties!

Auckland Pride Festival programme
The very collectible Auckland Pride Festival programme will be printed and distributed throughout the country in mid-January. At 25,000 copies, the Pride programme is the largest annual print publication for New Zealand’s Rainbow communities.
All registered events will be listed in the programme – but if you want your event or organisation to attract maximum attention, it does pay to advertise! To book advertising space, please contact the Festival Director at your earliest convenience: [email protected]
Tickets to Auckland Pride Festival events are sold by a variety of ticketing agents, each with differing booking fees and ticket processing charges. Prices for events listed on this website are exclusive of these charges.
When tickets are booked in person, by phone, mail or internet, an additional cost may be incurred and will vary from a per-transaction charge to a per-ticket charge depending on which agent is selling the tickets.
