New Board Members: Applications Welcome!

Did you enjoy the Auckland Pride Festival this year? Do you have something to offer to help the Festival and Parade grow and improve? Are you enthusiastic and prepared to commit your time to delivering a great event for our community? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

The board would particularly welcome applications from individuals with a background in finance, communications/marketing, sponsorship and commercial partnerships or event management. Applicants should support the aims and objectives of Auckland Pride Festival Inc.

Co-chair Kirsten Sibbit says, “We are always on the lookout for fresh ideas and a new perspective, so if you are keen to be involved, feel you have something to offer and are excited to be part of making the Auckland Pride Festival the best it can be, the Board wants to hear from you.”

The board comprises of seven individuals from across the rainbow community and is primarily responsible for Auckland Pride Festival governance, strategic direction, finances and ensuring the delivery of an outstanding event that celebrates the rich diversity of our communities. The term of office is initially three years from March 2016.
